East Perth Power Station

The East Perth Power Station was build in 1913-1916 on the banks of the Swan River and became obsolete in 1981. The East Perth Power Station is now an abandoned and derilict building. It is a heritage listed site in WA and plans are being made to preserve the buildings that make up the power station. It is a haunting place with lots of broken windows and old equipment. Would make a great movie set I think.

Wow: if you had about $5-10,000,000 -- you could turn that into a really nice 'David Lynch' home -- with plenty of room for movie sets -- or whatever.

No question about it: this looks like a postcard of the home Lynch 'should' be living in.

Am I wrong?
