Yes, the little tree does help a viewer define what's seen. And it's right at the edge of the upper, slightly lighter sky area, nicely standing out. It's amazing how your 2-3 color tones create a colorful, absorbing abstract. - Jean

Actually, this shot was taken on the rim of the Crater Lake NP...max telphoto on the base of the island..on the myraid of small islands...I like this shoth as the tree gives you the clue to understand it.
