I decided to visit Truckfest NW today, mainly to photograph the big rigs with the fancy paintjobs. There were some stunning looking murals adorning some of the trucks, several of which I will be uploading to a dedicated gallery, when I get the chance. For now though, they are stuck in the queue of images waiting to be sorted, cropped and posted on pbase.

As well as the big rigs though, there were various stunt shows etc. in the arena. Most I didn't bother to photograph, as I needed all my time to wander around the rigs getting the pictures I REALLY wanted. Of course the sound of two monster trucks firing up attracted my attention and I couldn't resist wandering over.

I couldn't get near the front of the crowd, so I had to resort to the 'hold the camera up in the air and use the rear LCD' tactic, to shoot over the heads in front of me.
