Cubed - by Ord

A simple model to show an interesting effect.

Not sure if this works for everyone, I need to look for several seconds before I see "it".

Good concept. Keeps reversing itself!

Simple and effective. Very illustrative for the theme too !

umbro10 - yes, great minds do think alike! Leave yours where it is, I think the checkered patterns give it a very different look. I was fortunate that I did not have to do any painting - it is foam for arranging flowers and comes already in that color and texture.

You beat me to putting this on. I guess great minds think alike. LOL. I still had to paint my model when I saw yours today. Great job on the paint/texture by the way. I ended up using my model in "PinArt" for a little different effect. If you feel it encroaches on your idea, I'll move it to Exhibition.

Very cool - I've seen this before, but this is the first time I've noticed 3 illusions. I like the color and textures here.

Works for me too. Excellent for this topic!

Good one Ord, I really like this kind of pics where you make use of the shadows to create the illusions and I often try to find shadows playing tricks with ones perception when I'm out shooting. I hope everybody gives this one a look long enough to see the effect. It's a classic and it's really good.

Works for me Ord. Simple but effective. A true optical illusion. I won't give it away in case others want to figure it out for themselves. :o) Cheers, John
