My Perseid pic on BBC Television Program

This is a snapshot of a RealTime player broadcast of the BBC astronomy program,
"The Sky at Night" in which they used a pic I took in Aug. 2002 of a very
bright Perseid Meteor.

I had receive e-mail from the producer asking permission to show this pic on this
years August broadcast to announce the upcoming Perseid meteor shower.

Here is a larger pic :

This was an interesting pic as I unintentionally aligned the camera to the northstar
and just took a pic every minute with the IR remote. I got lucky and caught
a very bright and low Perseid in one of my shots.

I had about 42 shots of just stars and one shot of the meteor. So I did some dark
frame subtraction to get rid of the hot pixels and stacked the 42 frames to create
the star trails around the north star.
