Although you can't tell from this image, a fine steady rain was falling. A test of the camera's durability (I put the D70 in my bag & used the 5700). Really poor light & I happened upon this great blue heron unexpectedly - and in my excitement didn't adjust settings properly so I lost about 75% of the shots (blur & poor focus). Dumb! Should have shooting at ISO 400 (not 100) and f3 (not 7.4) - as a result the shutter speed is about 1/4 second and even on the tripod that's no good! Fortunately he stopped occasionally.
