State Capitol of Wisconsin

Madison WI view map

Olympus WCON-08B 0.8x Wide Angle Extension. Even with a large adapter ring there are no dark corners (as long as you dont use a lot of filters before it). You can use it on a variety of lenses. Flare is a definite problem, I'm still looking for a very large mm hood, for now using my hand to shield (hard to hold camera and all with one hand, the W/A is pretty heavy). Got the idea from a guy on DPRevue Nikon Forum. His name is Ching-Kuang Shene, and the article is "Poor Man's Wide Angle Lens" if you do a search. He goes into much detail. Use at own risk...I have heard CA is a problem with some lenses more than others.

Thanks Kevin, Anna, and ac
I can still remember the sky that day, it was one of those bluer than blue, and with some white clouds...usually when we get clouds the sky takes on a hazy blue, but luckily not this day

Love the symmetry and the great sky

The Olympus WA extender works on a Tamron lens on a Canon camera? I think I have one of those things too, gotta try it out. Great WA shot btw! The clouds behind the dome are especially good.

very nice use of wide angle, makes it look like a very imposing building

Thanks Yiannis, the sky was very blue that day, I can't remember if I used a polarizer, but I did no post process on sky that day (but a lot of perspective correction, with my wide lens, lol). Thanks for looking and for the comment.
