I agree -- good photographers often share a common trait. The know where good pictures are found and how to make them. I like both your shot and Wendy's, but for different reasons. While Wendy offers more context, you offer more detail. Both are rich in incongruity, yours is a bit more abstract, and stresses the human values expressed by that detail.
