I purchased this Jeep new and a few years ago started to modify for improved off road performance. The jeep has a conservative suspension lift of 4 inches, allowing larger tires on stock wheels while retaining decent on road manners. Custom off road bumpers have been installed along with a large off road roof rack for camping gear. The larger spare tire has been moved outside on a swing away rack. Significant off road capabilities have been added with the addition of ARB air lockers on both front and rear differentials. Also, because of the reduced braking capacity of the larger tires I added a rear disk brake conversion (uses standard GM pads and rotors). This has improved braking to better then stock. (very, very nice to have). Gear ratio have been changed to match tire size and improve slow speed operations off road. (411) The engine has a Borla header installed and a Turbo City Air intake filter assy. No other internal engine modifications have been made. The Jeep has been well maintained. When something breaks it is fixed quickly. This includes the typical batteries, regular oil changes, coolants, new high capacity radiator, new A/C compressor, power steering pump, fuel pump, tires, brake pads, and other misc.
