This is the largest single quartz crystal I have found to date at the Calumet Iron Mine. It is approximately 2 1/2" X 1 1/4" The Calumet Iron Mine is well known for its epidote specimens, but it has produced some fine quartz, especially matrix specimens in combination with the epidote.
