Up even before the larks and the earliest of worm things this morning to take these shots. We live at the foot of the hill where the church is at Great Gonerby. The tip of the spire is just visible through the bedroom and office windows and when I peaked out this morning there was just the merest hint of a glow in the sky. I knew today was the day (I'd been planning to shoot the church for quite a while).

I came home with a grin on my face and went back to bed... Pleased with the result I was!
