Heather (Gordy's sister Kaaren's daughter) & Rick Miner's backyard neighbor... Blacky (original!!!)... Male Black Bear about 5 years old as of June 2002. Bachelor... as no cubs or mate seen...

Particular's (from Heather 07/23/2002): Prefers early morning and late evening strolls. Enjoys bird seed, hummingbird feeders, and drinking out of the bird bath. Has been known to try the composter and a bale of hay once/year just to see if there is anything good. Blacky comes around after waking up in the Spring and then reminds us that he is around 3-4 times during the Summer. For us - one time may equal several appearances in a row, it depends.
