17-08-04 Cutty Sark

The figurehead of the cutty sark, is a representation of the witch in Burn's poem, Tam O'Shanter.
The lock of hair you see in her hand is supposed to be the tail of maggie, Tam's Horse. The Cutty
Sark reference, comes from the Scot's term for a short shirt.

I went to meet my good friends in Greenwich for a few drinks while I was in London.

Rob's one of my oldest mates, knew him since playgroup, all those years ago in Margate. It's always
good to see him, and his girlfriend. Our other schoolyard cohort was in Greece, so I missed him
this time, but plenty of other opportunities to catch up with them in the future!
