The "Men at Work" series continues this week.
This is Mike, and he is without a doubt our terminal's most versatile employee.
He can operate just about everything in the plant, and anything else we throw at him.
With all due respect to Mike, this shot was planned for someone else,
but he respectfully declined to be photographed. No hard feelings.
However, Mike is our primary back-up for this job,
so I decided this would be just as appropriate for him.
This booth is on the second floor, and it is where we control all loading of bulk cement.
Trucks generally carry about 25 tons in the tank, so one mistake can result in a whole lot
of cement powder on the floor and everything else.
I struggled with how to make this tiny room, and the work done in there, interesting.
I came up with this idea for a composite while loading a truck this morning.
Anyways, I have never attempted a shot like this before,
so it took a few tries to get the layers correct in photoshop.
