I visited Bruges with my daughter Liza in Jan 2002. Crossing from London on the "Chunnel" we changed trains in Brussels arriving in the morning of the weekend. The City largely unchanged since the 13th century and its Market Place and the ever present mist remain in the memory together with Leffe Beer and the most wonderful Nougat.
