Thanks Craig for your comments on my gallery. Yesterday, we saw a turkey vulture tearing at a dead cat carcass in someone's front yard, but they are beautiful in flight and do perform an important function. I hope to get some ultra-close-ups someday. They hang out at the dump here, but are inside a fenced area.
