I like your suggestions about drawing a curved line (fish or otherwise). But I don't know how I can have a line and still keep the background paper OOF. I'll work on it after the Challenge.
This is one of my favourite pens. Makes a wonderful scratchy sound on paper. Holds more ink than my steel-tipped pens. You can see the capillary action at the tip in this shot.

Nice shot...is it really a pen? I've never seen anything, like it. Reminds me very much of a bird (perhaps diving to pluck a fish from the water). If try the curved line of ink suggestions, maybe you could also try one as drawing a very, very simple, stylized fish as the curves - just for giggles.

G'day Dennis. I like your more natural background here when compared with your other pen. The composition is good with the diagonal pen, but it seems a little dull and perhaps some flash might have been worth a try. I also like Philip's idea from your other pen entry of showing a curved line of ink to add another dimension. I like the curves of the pen and the embossed paper. Cheers, John

Way to go Dennis. This is a much better shot compaired to your first entry. Really cool looking pen too.
