We saw at least four or five bright Perseid meteors flash in the sky.

The evening sky was covered in clouds when we first arrived at Tuolumne Meadows, around 8:00.
Later in the evening, the clouds moved out with some clear views to the east and to the west.

We stayed out in the cold till 11:00 before calling it a night.
