St. Peter's_DSC_3491

Originally built in 1833 to accomodate the growing Irish population of the town. Irish immigrants moved in to build the C&O Canal and the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad. It sits on the edge of a cliff about 75 feet or more above the first house in this gallery.

I really enjoy visitng Harper's Ferry, but now realize I missed several things... this church for sure. Nice colors.
