After Vicki was born, Evelyn moved to a small place on the edge of Prophetstown (on the road heading out towards old RR2). There they waited, for what must have seemed like an eternity for Spud to return home safe and sound for good.
Evelyn earned extra money by taking care of the infirm woman and her 6 kids next door - helping out in ways that visiting nurses do today.
