This cute little house on the corner of East Street in Prophetstown is the first house Annette ever lived in. The four of them lived cozily until, while Evelyn was pregnant with Vicki, Spud got drafted and went off to fight in World War II. It was then that Doc Robinson didn't think Evelyn should stay alone with 2 little kids and the stairs with the dizzy spells she was having and so she returned to stay with her folks at the Hoopole House.
