Welcome to the Gunks! ( http://www.gunks.com/ ). It is a super place to find adventure. This is a photo of Kate in the middle of her first rappel ever. Sure...it was off of a 300+ foot cliff after climbing one of the area's ultra-classic routes, High Exposure. This route is very appropriately named but Kate did fantastically (is that a word...no matter). What more can I say about this super-fun day. Welcome to the Gunks, Kate. I hope you'll consider it a little oasis in a jungle of day-to-day concrete.
