The Sky's the Limit*

The gentleman in the photograph is one of my younger brothers. This is his second graduation ceremony in three and a half months. His first graduation was from Schreyers Honors College at Penn State University in physics. This graduation is from Army basic training in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri.

Canon PowerShot A80

Forgot to say: that's a direct quote from the challenge thread by Gayle.

The guidelines are simple: The subject must be living , the photograph must be in colour. No black and white, no monotone, no partial desaturation......just glorious colour from top to bottom, side to side and corner to corner. The subject matter can be plants, people , animals, insects...... as long as it's alive and in colour , it's a challenge entry!

Yes, it is on topic :)

What happened to his feet? Great perspective, perfect sky. Not to be picky, but is this on topic?

Gayle - I downloaded the trial version for pse 2 and cloned out the grass. I think I'm starting to get the hang of this! - Thanks for the suggestion. - atothev

Thanks Lee and Gayle. Lee, I added some information about the young man in the photo. Gayle, that is a good suggestion. It looks like sometime in the future I'm going to have to upgrade my photosoftware. Right now I don't have any cloning capabilities and cropping cut out too much off of his legs. Thanks for the constructive criticism. - atothev

I love this photo. The sky is wonderful, the gentleman is perfectly positioned. Just clone out those little blades of grass in the bottom right hand corner though.
Well done!
Gayle

Great clouds, perspective. Like to hear some background on who the gentleman in the picture is. theFly
