03-AUG-2004

Very busy day, so no camera time.

Tonight was our neighborhood watch meeting. We had a
watermelon gathering and they met in our yard. We put out
the leftovers for the deer....I'll check it in the morning.
We are fortunate that the deputy couldn't remember ever
having a problem in our neighborhood!

The transition did not go well for John, but hope I have better things to report tomorrow.

Even the leftovers look good enough to eat when you take the picture. I can almost feel and taste the sweet juices in my mouth!

Hmmm... I see the makings for watermelon pickles here... and, I hope you'll have better days ahead...

The reds just pop, don't they? I'd love to be a deer in your backyard! Yum.

Wishing the best for John, Petesie!

Glad to hear you had the courage to host the National Night Out Against Crime with all the other things you have on your mind. I used to be director of that for our county and was always so appreciative when people participated. You're a survivor!

They look delicious!

Prayers are with you.

Just so long as they don't think the watermelon is the appetizer then storm through your fence to get at the main course -- your flowers!

Interesting shot petesie... kind of tells a story and makes you scratch your head and wonder.

So sorry to hear about John. My thoughts continue to be with you.

looks like the watermelon was well received at least . . and the deer should definitely enjoy the leftovers =]
