Catching the

John is better today and hopefully will get to move to Deer Creek tomorrow.
Thanks again for all of your concern.

Not much camera time today, but took out a few minutes to look
at the setting "Blue Moon" this morning. I tried to frame it: http://www.pbase.com/image/32072720
Then I saw the two bare branches and remembered Carmen's "Tangled Moon".
http://www.pbase.com/image/31659232 a few days ago. So I worked it
around and "caught" it. You have to realize I only do hand held, and
I still only use the auto setting on my camera, so it is not the quality
of Carmen's photo, but now I am having so much fun that I really want to learn
to use my camera to all its capabilities. Carmen, thanks for the inspiration and idea.

Nikon Coolpix 4500

The branches are saying "And here's a moon for you....."

It looks like the trees caught a pearl and is holding it up for the world to see.

The branches look as though they're holding the moon. Nice shot, Petesie.

This is so cool! The ends of the bare branches even look like fingers, catching it in a pincer. Great eye! The other is nice too, but this is very creative.

I think this is the best blue moon photo I've seen...

Perfect catch Petesie! Excellent exposure, and you couldn't have asked for more cooperative branches. Great! Glad John is doing better!
