I forgot to zoom in... :(
But, this is my first attempt at the moon. Nothing used but
my camera. Manuel zoom set to infinity, F @ 8.0 & 1/100

Great Capture! I wish out moon had been that cool color, all we got was the plain old white shiny moon.

As the moon topped the horizon here in Illinois It was quite orangish in colour. Totally awesome to my eyes. Almost like a harvest moon.
I was near upset 'cause I didn't think I could capture it's image with the camera. Demmy told me to reset my camera to manuel, where to start the settings and go from there. I did!!! :D
We also had one of his scopes set up, viewing the moon and stars... Beautiful n ight. But the moom was soooo bright, it made for hard viewing of any 'gobulars' as he calles them.

As mentioned on one of the others': definitely a full moon last night - everyone had the same idea. But yours had a different colour! :)
