Good News is No News - Tom reporting

Turned off a rerun of the Apprentice tonight and saw a pulse of light as the TV went out. Decided to take a 4 second picture of it... results were not visible with the naked eye (until now!). Tripod about 4' in front of TV. Only PP is crop and frame.

Yes, I thought that strange at first, but I started the 2 second image just after I hit the power button... I guess stations have it figured out how to keep the logo on until the very end... There's another example here: www.pbase.com/image/31922984 I thought the "light show" on the one I entered was interesting, must be static.

Without the station logo this a surreal image makes me think of one of those high energy lab experiments.

Pretty wild. Sort of strange with the clear station watermark, since it looks like something they actually had on the news, like coverage of an aurora or something. Very cool!

Tom
Great observation and idea to try this.
Captured a difficult theme right on , IMO.
Turned out very nice.
Looks like either the creation or dissolution of " the news"
Colors and patterns are interesting
Looks like a composition.
Well done
