nice view of something everybody sees, but doesn't reall see. I've always (well, for 52 years, more or less) harbored the smallest fear that somehow my toes could get caught in the meshing of the thing and suck be down into the bowels of the store. it's a minor phobia as phobias go...
Excellent idea for a pic. I've often been so bewitched by them while on an escalator that I've nearly tripped myself up getting off! Great lighting too.
