Great timing Jean! Very powerful impact and a good sense of depth with the foreground and the background linked very nicely. Well done

Jean,

That wave certainly hit with impact and goes well with the theme. Too bad we can't include sound effects ;-)

The power/energy of nature can be truly awesome.

This is a nice capture of wave power at its non stormy best. But I also would liked to have seen tighter crop.

I love the ocean and this capture is great.
I agree. a little less land & a little less sky will increase the power and impact.

I really like this image, being a beach person. But then again, that ain't no beach!!!

I think one way to improve this image would be to crop out some of the sky. As it is, the sky fights with the water in the foreground for dominance in the pic. I'd go with the water.

Nice one Jean and quite apt for the theme. I might consider playing with the horizontal symmetry of the framing of the plume from the central broken wave, perhaps cropping tighter at the right. Cheers, John

There's nothing that earns my respect like the power of the ocean! Great interpretation!

This is in Santa Cruz, CA, where a walk along the coast can be breathtaking. - Jean
