My Dad's parents owned this cocktail set, it was passed down to me last Christmas. I don't know if anyone ever used it. As far as I remember, my grandparents were more beer and poker or beer and bowling types.
One of my fondest memories is going to a pizza parlor with my aunt, uncle, step-cousin and grandparents. I was 14 and was given some dark beer in my rootbeer glass. I got a little tipsy but my grandmother got very tipsy. She laughed and cut loose. It was the first time I'd seen her out of her parent role and I loved it. One of the best evenings I remember.
