This is what the D70's RAW 6MP images looks like opened up as a 16-bit file in Nikon Capture 4.1. This file is an uncompressed screen capture of what 100 percent looks like,shot at f/4 at 125mm on the 70-200VR. If you are sharp-eyed you can see that there IS A SMALL AMOUNT of blurring on this shot. At this image magnification,and this shutter speed, this shot is not 100 percent,rock-steady. Look closely and you can see this slight degree of blur in the hair and eyelashes. At small and normal print sizes,no problem,this fault would disappear.There is 100 percent crisp,and there is ever-so-slightly blurry,even if it is only a pixel or two or three wide....this blur falls into that last category.
