Tree

You know, this PaD is hard sometimes!

Good discipline, but there are days, like today,
when I just couldn't get my creative juices flowing.

So, behold, the simple tree.
And I didn't even honor the rule of thirds. Sigh...

This is awesome, Gary!! I love the simple composition, and how there's absolutely nothing surrounding the tree. Nice treatment too. Fantastic shot.

This is far from hoo hum, I love it, I have always liked lone tree shots, and the sepia tone to this is even more intriguing. I like it.

Simple is best, nothing better in my book than a lone tree.

Poor tree, out there all alone, and to make things worse, you come along and "shoot" it!!!
LOL
Looks good to me. Off set would have not worked near as well.

Looks good though...reminds me of the "SIX FEET UNDER" tree.

When up a tree... shoot a tree.

Rule of thirds... more like a guideline.. Creative juices cannot flow if you are sunk in rules - at least that's what i go by. not that that is a good thing but.. it does me well. I like this dead-on in the middle photo.. love the sepia.. very well done
