Great contrast of texture and light here, Mattana.

Mattana, striking photo. I tend to process to the limit of the brightness spectrum and would probably have done that to lift this one too, but it's great even as it is. Cheers, John

Great shot, excellent composition and the dark heavily saturated colors work very well.

Very nice one, Mattana. For me the light reminds me of that special situation when the sky is covered with dark clouds, and in your back, the sun is still shining. Congrats !

Fantastic colors. You could frame this and sell it....it's eye-catching. Congratulations.

Hi Mattana,

I like it. It has a strong sense of being on the edge of a field and very intriguing mix of colors. Even if ti's a differnt cultivation, the scale makes me feel like I'm in front of a field of corn, about to step into the tall field. Well done

Hi Box/Veronica:

Thanks for the comments. You are both right about it being a bit dark – I live in England. We don’t see much sun here! :-) Here is the lighter version -- I hope the artificial sun will do… I compare this one with the previous one. That one was darker but it seems to have slightly more punch to it – for me anyway.

About ‘PPing the curves’, I am afraid I don’t understand. Could you please explain. Thanks.

Cheers
Mattana

Wow! Eyecatching! The colors are dynamite. Nice contrast betweenthe edges of wheat stalks & distant background. I agree about the lighting...a tad more needed? No matter, beautiful imagery.

Love the subdued colours but it is a pity that we are not getting enough sun to ripen the crops.

But I wonder if in PPing the curves could have given the image a bit of a lift without losing the subtle colouration.

As for edge. Yes, but did you take any looking along the field edges. Just a thought as to whether such a shot would had more drama.
