Ouch!

We got back to Southern Cal from the Las Vegas leg of our vacation and headed to the beach. The water and air temperatures were perfect and we spent a couple of hours bobbing in the water and jumping the waves. It was such fun. I haven't swam in the ocean for at least 30 years. Several hours later we started to feel the sunburns. The aloe gel helps a little but tonight is going to be rough, we'll have to take lots of cool showers. It was so much fun, the sunburns might just have been worth it.

Oh my sympathy for you and yours. I know how this feels. Take care and continue the Aloe.

Yes, double ouch. That olde SoCal sun can burn when you are around water.

LOL. From the thumbnail, it looks like two oranges. I thought "why is she putting gel on an orange?"

Looks pretty painful. Great shot. Hope the aloe helped.

I feel for you! About 15 years ago, I got a very bad sunburn at South Padre Island. It was so bad, I actually got sick with a fever and the works. It was AWFUL. I hope you guys aren't in that bad shape...

It is really more of a bright red, I had to move fast to get this photo of my daughter so nothing is adjusted or in focus.

Did you really get that orange. Ouch is right!
