Red hot and spicy crisp

What a silly idea to shoot a "crisp" ! Well, the other day I was eating one and, geez, found it quite hot ! Looking at it closer, and at a certain angle, it looked a bit like a propeller. So, I got the idea to shoot it at that angle and try to convey the red coloured "hot and spicy" feeling.
Shot under daylight.

Another example of a quite ordinary object turned into a compelling work of art. Excellent composition and use of color and shadows.

Hi Jim. The composition is simple yet perfectly balanced with darness below, DOF & the variation in colour above & behind. The shape, set like a wafer thin saddle shows excellent texture with fine detail. A very 'crisp' shot! ;-)
Regards & a good weekend to you my friend..Rob

This is great! I love crisps too, but this shot makes me think not of a propeller as much as a Mexican hat!! The colors are marvelous as is the texture!

:-) Marie
