It took a full day of carefull cutting and chipping of concrete to expose the old plumbing, and splice in the new fittings to run to the new waterfall pump. At 7:15pm the pond was topped off and the pump started for the first time. I'm very happy to say there are no leaks, and the skimmer is working like a million bucks! You can just see the top of the pump on the right in the corner. It will be hidden with the next phase of upgrades.
