Comet Linear C/2003 K4 taken 7/9/04 using a Meade LX200 and a SBIG ST-237A. 16 minutes (1 minute x 16 exposures) luminance and 5 minutes (1 minute x 5 exposures) for each RGB channel combined in AstroArt 2.0. The color 'dots' and white lines you see are a result of the comet's movement between luminance and each RGB exposure. Seeing was less than ideal for this set of exposures. Comet was at RA 15:20:42 Dec +41:17:40 when imaging was started. Basically between Bootes and Hercules.
