I think you made the right decision. I like the hibiscus macro, but this one appeals to me a little more, for whatever reason (they are quite different, so it's hard). If you look at the whole picture (lily and reflection) it looks like a big spiky ball. It's a lovely image.

Fantastic color and I love the way the petals barely dip into the water's surface.
