Hi Kees,
I think it is better in a couple of ways. The colours are much more vibrant and appealing with the lighting you have chosen, which I think is very important for this subject matter for this theme. The composition places the man in a more interesting position where his head points towards the rest of the image as it should. It would be good to have the body do the same. I think a closer crop would help a bit more, along with perhaps a change of elevation angle to avoid the distracting red cloth behind and the blue carpet(?) underneath. A picture that is just all leggo would have more impact for me. Interesting idea to try a slight slant. I would probably go level or slope more to see what it looks like, but not hard over on that one. Still a nice colourful creation with plenty to look at.
Cheers, John

G'day John,

Thanks for your comments.
The best way to learn is by listening to advice how pictures can be improved.
I still had a few hours to go, so I went back to do some more homework.

I turned arround the scenery to get the light from behind.
Got the worksmen to the right and introduced the happy tiger.
I decided to leave the image a little bit tilted to give more dynamics to the tigers entry.
Did I only make it worse ;-) ?

Cheers, Kees

G'day Kees,
I like your idea and thought of doing something similar, but perhaps more ordered like replicating Mattana's 'Red Door' using Leggo. I decided to comment against this one of your two shots to suggest that I would have preferred to see more direct lighting like in your other shot to bring out the colours more. For this one, I would proably also have put your man further to the right and angled towards the more open left with something of interest there as well. This is a theme that begs for bright Leggo colours, so thanks for capturing some. I hope the cleanup went ok, but with such a willing looking guy on the job, I can't imagine it would have been too much of a problem. ;o)
Cheers, John
