July 3: Making A Point

La Verne University

This image is borderline awful, however it is a excellent documentation of my day. Note that my partner Michele in the right corner is displaying total fascination with the cogent point I am making to a group of 55 PhD students. ;-)

Actually we had a great day and worked very hard. Our morning keynote address to the entire graduate class was well received, and the afternoon seminar on Whole Systems Change technologies created many insights and many questions in the group.

We’re off to dinner with one of the faculty members, and them I’m going to crash.

Of course, I didn't take the picture. And it was really too dark to get a decent shot without a flash.

Michele is not impressed with Robins version of the Sand Dance!

It makes me feel good to finally see someone else work while I had a day off. Seriously, interesting to see you at work. I'll bet you wowed them!

Michele looks utterly bored! :) Were you afraid a flash would upset the "professor"? I think he could have handled it. Honestly, I think American History is more interesting, oh well.

It's high exposure Robin..:-)

Gotta ask-who does your scheduling? Good job on the seminar, I take it you aren't claiming ownership of the photo? Have a restful 4th!

Pretty impressive, Robin, an intellectual among us!
We'll give a C+ for composition. :-(

Professor -- your partner, as you noted, doesn't appear bedazzled. Nonetheless, nice to see you in action pulling the wool over the eyes of those graduate students. Happy Fourth tomorrow!

Jeez... you work Saturday... on the Independence Day weekend! That kind of commitment ought to be rewarded.
