This wonderful little fish was taken from, and quickly and safely returned to, the same lough as is now being stocked with the rubber trout seen in the next photo in this gallery. Already it is possible to notice how these little wild trout are not as fat as they used to be and I am sure this is due to the competition from the literally thousands of stocked fish that are being dumped in the lough. I've written to the government minister responsible, she ignores my communications. I hope the Department of Culture, Arts and Leisure are pleased with themselves to be destroying a whole ecosystem.
