~ Amber Shadows ~ By Kimberly

Okay, this certainly isn't the most original photo :) I pulled out my DiMage and went around my house tonight in search of color and here's what I came up with....I may try again tomorrow when the sun comes out!

For some reason, when I add a white background to a photo on PS, I loose all of the exif info when I upload it. Here's a cut and paste version of the exif.

The colours and the light are great ! I also like the circular shadows a lot. It is a bit like water...

Very nice.
The aesthetics are wonderful with the circular repetitions and the textures and the beautiful warm colors.

Amber is a beautiful color and I think you have brought it out very nicely in this photo. I like the composition and how you have put the shadows to work. Very nice, and not at all as unoriginal as you say in the caption. Well done.

Hi Kimberly,

Whaoo! I'm impressed. We managed to pull you away from your DLSR (I know I know ... only for a brief moment ;-) I like the strong geomterical structure creatd byt the light and reflections. The subtle effects on the glass are also quite nice. Well done.

I like how the glass and light and shadows work together. Very nice compositon with the main light source right above the vase.

What a lovely amber color. I love that color of glass. You have highlighted it well.
