5th: Leningrad Cowboys by von Klein

Leningrad Cowboys are a superb Finnish rock'n'roll group with a distinct hair style. They performed in Prague, Czech Republic to celebrate our entry into the E.U.

G'day from me too VK,
Love your shot here. Colourful image for sure with a colourful attitude captured perfectly. Timing couldn't have been better. Maybe the band would like a copy of your shot. Why not get in contact with them? Maybe e-mail a sample to their fan club if they have one to get it to its intended subject?
Cheers, John

g'day vK - i remember being bowled over when u first posted this & other pics & it just gets better as i learn how hard some of this stuff is. Great composition & capture, specially for an overhead? shot. u really nailed this on. thanx. adrianox

Great concert pic, especially with the smoke effect. I really like that you were able to capture this without blown highlights -- most challenging. One usually doesn't refer to men's hairdos, but those certainly are some interesting coiffures :-)

Really nice concert shot. Wit all those funky hairdo and clothes they looks like a interesting band, and now you are making me curious about the music...

LOL. They certainly have more colorful costumes than when I first saw them in Kaurismäki's very funny film. Also loved the Total Balalaika Show. Have to check if they are avalable on DVD. I didn't even know that this colorful band still existed. Anyway, a great capture of a ...well... great...rock'n'roll band.

Hot pink draws your eye- lots of colors here. This group must have the market cornered on mousse for their hair..
