Wolf 570

Ok, this image is bad. It was very dark, but there was the wolf and sure, I was going to try.
1/15th of a sec shutter, FL 500mmm, iso 1600, wolf moving, handheld, can't hardly see it, - a sure recipe for disaster.
But what the hey, I ran it through Noise Ninja once to remove some noise and I still like it.
Encounters with wild wolves are always a bit dreamy anyway.

GOOD GALLERY. I AGREE WITH YOU ON THIS PHOTO. I"VE SEEN WOLVES ON MANY OCCASIONS (SOME IN THE ALBERTA FOOTHILLS WHERE SOME OF THE CURRENT YELLOWSTONE ANIMALS ORIGINATED). THIS FLEETING SHOT IS MORE TYPICAL OF A LOT OF CARNIVORE SIGHTINGS AND CARRIES SOMEWHAT MORE OF THE MYSTIQUE OF THE SPECIES THAN MANY CRYSTAL CLEAR BUT STATIC SHOTS DO.
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. PAT MARKLEVITZ
