The Palace of fine Arts was originally constructed of wood and plaster and was not supposed to live beyond the end of the 1915 Exposition.
It was allowed to crumble gracefulluy through the years and rebuilt out of concrete in 1962.
I noticed Gulls flying by regularly so when I saw one coming I put the Camera on burst mode and got one right in the middle of the structure.
