Marina Fisherman's Wharf

San Francisco, CA

I had expected Fisherman's Wharf to be but a block or two remnant of The Past.
instead I found a huge Working Fishing Port. With long docks of Canneries Marinas and Fancy Restaurants built right on the docks. A mixture of old and new. Fisherman's wharf alone would have needed a few days to explore fully.
Many of the boats in this picture are smaller fishing boats. The larger yachts and multi million dollar homes are further west along the marina just this side of The Golden Gate Bridge in the background. Beyond the Bridge is the Marin Headlands and 1 hour noth of that is the Pt Reyes national Seashore.
