Very neat idea... and the in and out of focus are introduce interest and make me focus on the details. It is slightly disorienting, but that is actually one of the good thing of the shot
this is an interesting idea and i can see what you were wanting to do, but personally i find the out of focus area on the right a bit distracting. perhaps it would be better if I could see the magnifying glass and even your hand holding it in the shot. Not sure.
