This spider is a bit apprehensive about my interest in it and its egg sac that it carries around as it straddles the boundary between the brick and mortar on the wall inside my house above my wine rack .;o)
We call this type of spider daddy long-legs here in Australia. It has a tiny body and very long and spindly legs. Its poison is venemous, but the spider is harmless to people because it is so small.
Thanks to Jack Grouell's enquiry to confirm that my spider is actually a spider, I can confirm that it is an arachnid from the family Pholcidae and is indeed a spider. I also now know that it is called daddy long-legs in other parts of the world as well.
