A look at little baby Spencer's hair and how it curls at the back of his head, and the way a few wispy,delicate hairs tend to curl over his ears. I took this photo with Spencer at Jill's knee,and me seated in my chair out on the back deck. The 300 f/4 AF-S focuses really close,and this full-frame shot is from around five feet away. The tiny little red thing on his shoulder is a very,very small piece of lint. I love the look of the 300/4 shot this way, as an isolating macro-like lens...I love the fine detail it renders,and the way it ensures a deeply OOF background when shot at close ranges.
