More to this story, we have just had Rabies invade CapeCod and this poor little critter was sick.
That is probably why he was out in the daylight.
Several days later, Muffin attacked him in the woods out behind our shed, and I had to break up the fight.

I called the Dog Officer, as we arent allowed to trap or shoot wild animals here. By the time he arrived the coon had gone.
And since there were rabid coons in our neighbourhood, I had to undergo the Rabies series.
Muffin was lucky, as all dogs are innoculated, and all she needed was a booster shot.
